The Doo Wop Project Concert Live at Zeiterion Theatre | New Bedford – December 11th, 2026

The Zeiterion Theatre is a true gem in New Bedford’s cultural scene, blending history with heart. Since 2005, it’s been home to the beloved summer Shakespeare festival that pulls in crowds from all over, and honestly, there’s something magical about watching classic plays in a venue with such rich character. Remember when Norah Jones played there in 2008? Tickets sold out faster than you could blink, and everyone left talking about that soulful night. The theatre also has its own stories to tell, like the debut of Sarah McCarthy’s ‘The Last Voyage’ back in 1986, which earned her some local praise. Sitting in the balcony boxes gives you this incredible view of the stage and set design, making every show feel intimate yet grand. The Zeiterion is always working to keep its charm intact, from preserving the ornate balcony architecture to maintaining those old-school details that make it feel like stepping back in time. So when The Doo Wop Project comes to town, it’s not just a concert, it’s an experience surrounded by history, music, and a whole lot of heart.
